Agricultural Greenhouse Gas
Emissions

N2 Applied has developed a technology that enriches organic fertilisers with plant-available nitrogen.
The technology also prevents emissions of ammonia and methane from stored and applied organic
fertilisers, improving the agronomic and environmental performance. As fertiliser-related emissions comprise a significant share of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, this nitrogen enriched organic fertiliser (NEO) has the potential to reduce the environmental impact of global food production. In this report, we explain the individual environmental effects, present the evidence for emission reduction and give insight into the methodology used to estimate the effects.
